As a key contributor to the Trade Marketing Specialist role in the Pet Professional VET organization in Royal Canin Korea, evaluates and reviews customer insight, point-of-sale and syndicated data, provides a link between marketing programs and sales, and may be linked directly to a product. Reports findings for major marketing, distribution, and manufacturing proposals and their impact on the sales function. Participates in the central development and implementation of new products, re-launches, new business building programs, sales rationale, trade programs etc. May also lead sales meetings to review proposed plans. Provides and/or initiates sales analysis affecting distribution, spending as it relates to volume, brand promotional strategy, and selling tools.
Execution of customer investment strategy through the evaluation of trade promotion tactics and building optimization recommendations.
Leverage insights of Pet Owners who visit the clinic on price & promotions assigned per customer/channel to deliver selling stories for optimization activities.
Support our stakeholders(Korea Veterinarians) on gaining better understanding on how they invest today and where they need to shift investments tomorrow in order to deliver better revenue for customers, consumers, and the business.
Foster effective interactions between the VET sales team and other Cross-Functional team(SCD, S&F) to enhance customer collaboration.
Foster strong, influential relationships with pet owners, focusing on channel and category-centric solutions that enhance customer engagement and meet customer needs.(Outside-in approach)
Drive disease category campaigns that offer compelling value propositions to customers.
Ensure effective management of trade expenditures to positively impact the trade leverage index and return on investment (ROI).
Develop and implement JBP initiatives to create mutual value through an outside-in approach.
Oversee financial management with ownership of the v-diet Profit & Loss (P&L).
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, veterinary sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience of pharmaceutical or FMCG in total, including experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the veterinary or pet care industry with a focus on omni-channel strategy and customer conversion.
• Strong understanding of the vet recommendation model and its impact on pet owner purchase behavior.
• Proven experience in building and managing partnerships across multiple sales channels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence both internal teams and external partners.
• Understand clearly Pet Professional - Korea vet’s business & recommendation, share mutual value.
• A confident and articulate communicator, Good command of English both written and verbal.

What will be your Key Functional Competencies & Technical Skills?
• Identify and evaluate promotion optimization opportunities
• Partner with VET sales managers and VET Sales Acceleration Team Lead, to drive profitable sales and share growth across the Korea VET industry channel.
• Execute complex and comprehensive analyses to support the development of channel-level and customer-level promotional strategies that achieve sales, share, and profitability objectives.
• Facilitate strategic conversations with internal Sales managers to evaluate tradeoffs and commercialize opportunities.
