Our mission is to improve pets’ health and wellbeing by pushing the boundaries of nutrition science in partnership with pet professionals worldwide. We are now focused on developing new technologies and categories—such as Supplements and Treats—to address a broader range of pet needs and drive growth across our iconic global portfolios. We are seeking a Global Portfolio & Innovation Manager to lead the development of portfolio strategies and create distinctive products for pets globally. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Royal Canin’s new categories by driving pipeline development, creating compelling value propositions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional and regional teams.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Define and execute portfolio strategy in partnership with the Global Demand Director, tailoring approaches to key markets and regions.
Lead innovation projects from ideation through stage‑gate to successful launch, ensuring alignment with regulatory, scientific, and regional requirements.
Develop and validate strong value propositions, covering product, packaging, and health benefit proof points
Identify and nurture new growth opportunities, leveraging market insights, pet and consumer needs, and category trends.
Own and shape the long-term innovation pipeline, including front‑end innovation and +2‑year roadmaps
Secure effective global and regional deployment of innovations, including phased rollouts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Regional Teams, as well as external agencies to drive project success.
Manage budgets and contribute to strategic planning processes.
What profile we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering; MBA is a plus
Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing within CPG or pharmaceuticals
Strong innovation and portfolio management track record at global, regional, or local level
Proven ability to build scalable value propositions delivering both consumer and business impact
Strategic thinker with high learning agility and comfort navigating ambiguity
Strong stakeholder management, storytelling, and influencing skills
Data‑driven, collaborative, proactive, and results‑oriented mindset
Fluent in English

You will work in a multicultural environment (more than 40 nationalities) and where your dog will be welcomed by more than 100 other Associates’ dogs at the office!
You will work in a unique campus, which gathers more than 800 Associates working for: the international HQ, the French subsidiary, two laboratories, a kennel and a cattery with more than 200 cats & dogs, and finally the most important factory of the Royal Canin group
Since 2015, no waste to landfill is made by the 16 Royal Canin factories in the world
